A botched screen? Oh notched, same thing really. I agree that they have gotten too expensive. On a side note they don't need to be the best or compete on every spec, just have 75% of flagship internals with 50% price. This is why people started buying this brand in the first place.

Phone is a little bit better than expected.
    Price is not insane.
Probably better than mi mix 2s.
Waiting for Gsmarena review as usual. Interested about the camera. It looks ok on paper but I doubt it's anywhere close to Samsung or Huawai.

          So...

          No stereo speakers.
          No HDR screen
          It has notch
          Telephoto has too wide aperture
No 4K HDR recording, who knows why cause cpu allows
          No fake wireless charging
          No slot sd
          Just splash proof

          Still above $500.

I prefer to pay $750-900 to have all this

Over $500! Not looking competitive. Hate the notch.

No IP certification, useless dual camera (weaker second camera with the same lens equiv? no wide, no tele, no monochrome?) and no AF on the front camera, still small battery, no in-screen fingerprint, ugly notch and still 1080p-ish screen, still 64GB (128GB should be minimum in 2018 considering the starting price jump) and what's worse now you get 8GB RAM only on the 256GB variant, still no microSD slot even a hybrid type. Also no stereo speakers. Man, phones these days just don't justify their pricing. Just no innovation past 2-3 years besides improved chipsets and cameras, things I expect BESIDES the ones I mentioned above. Really disappointed with every smartphone this year.

I hoped this phone to be waterproof at the same level of the galaxy 8 so I'm not getting it. Instead the 5t it's going to be cheaper so I might get that one.

Got 5t in April knowing the 6 would come coz I and Mr. Notch cannot be friends.

Not going to be sold in Malaysia and Singapore?

I think this will be a very nice phone. Probably I'll sell my S8 and buy one.

He did not mentioned anything about the Notch or hiding it... The launch was pretty Basic... Nothing has glorified about the device...
