Huawei's European Honor 10 launch seems like a box office success.

TheProperGentleman, 18 May 2018Look, no one cares if the Chinese are spying on us. People ... moreNot only that, but this Chinese stereotyping needs to stop. These Chinese manufacturers are businesses just like any other, just out here trying to make some money. It's one planet earth and we need to stop acting like anyone is lesser than the other.

Anonymous, 17 May 2018Honestly, no one cares as long as the phone is good, which it is.Agreed. Have my honor 9 for almost six months, with no lags. Got Oreo about two months ago and it's still like brand new. Their phones just work. I guess that's to be expected though when a company makes its own soc's and software.

Romie Lee, 17 May 2018whether this is true or not, the first things we should rea... moreI have an Honor 9. Its works as intended, and its got the standard android security. I also haven't noticed anything out of the ordinary. Huawei doesn't seem to be interested in that stuff anyway. Seems like they just want people to like their phones, and we do.

Romie Lee, 17 May 2018whether this is true or not, the first things we should rea... moreLook, no one cares if the Chinese are spying on us. People care about a good phone, they won't give a damn about privacy. To be honest, the US is spying on the whole world and you don't see people complaining. Heck, the FBI hacked an iPhone without having a backdoor from Apple. So before you complain about how the Chinese government is spying on you, you should think about the US government. I study in the US, and I own a P10 Plus. I know that my data is known by the US spy agencies.

If you care about your data, don't use a smartphone. It's this simple.

Romie Lee, 17 May 2018whether this is true or not, the first things we should rea... moreLol. US is doing much worse than what China is "supposedly" doing in installing spyware. US is the biggest privacy violator in the world (thanks to the leaks from Snowden and Wikileaks) with US companies like Facebook being the biggest offenders, as well as US government agencies. US wanted to ban Chinese brands because they won't allow their phones to have US spyware and backdoors to spy on customers.

whether this is true or not, the first things we should really worry is.. the security and reputation of these chinese manufacturers. we should pray that they were currently no partnership between them and the Chinese government and the cheap price utimate package thing isn't a trap like a Trojan horse. Not hating Chinese OEM's/brand companies etc.. I just thinking and worrying about these possibilities. No and never a Chinese phone for me!
