Samsung flagship phones are only good for a year or even 6 months then its starts to lag. So they better check themselves first before critizing apple

Lag is virtually non-existent for phones that use stock or close to stock Android (Sony, OnePlus) since Android 5.0. Android USED to be laggy because of Dalvik, but Android Runtime fixed that. The only other reason for Android to be laggy is because of bloated UI and software, something that Samsung and LG are notorious for.

Apple users should try switching to Android, but definitely not to a Samsung.
I would say the best phone to replicate iOS in terms of software, performance, updates, and support, is by using a Pixel phone (or Nexus, if you can still find one today).
The same time, if you want nearly the same exact experience but want it a bit more reasonably priced, you can have a Nokia or Sony.
Even HTC is quite good, but good luck with availability.
If stock isn't your thing and want some customizability, there are a ton of them: Huawei, Xiaomi, Oppo, Vivo, Asus, Motorola, etc.
Those phones aren't guaranteed with the longest nor fastest updates, but they surely work better than Samsung and LG's, which would barely even get updated.
I hate to say this, but when it comes to performance devices, Samsung is the least favorable phone to get, with LG closely behind.

Call it app reload. I call it lag. My oneplus never reloads background apls unless i have forgotten them there for a few days.
Enjoy your last high end brick... haha.
