The new device from one plus looks like many others have said like a very particular mix between a flagship device and an upper mid device, it is certainly not as interesting as the other phones that it is competing against, and what should make the difference between the others should be the pricing but I am very concern since you can get other flagships at almost the same premium. So what is left is a solid device option for many, but definitely not very high on peoples list.

I guarantee you that S9 si not that good as you think.
Most important Samsung cares only about quantity once the phone is sold bussiness are over. No frequent updates no post sales assistance nothing else.
Waterproofing for what purpose? Are you swimming with your phone? I think not.
Oneplus also offers earphones or you can get one from wish site for a really cheap price.
6GB ram is enough maybe. My moto X4 have 4GB ram and for me is enough i dont cry because same game my mate with S9 can load by 1 second faster for that i really dont need a 900 eur phone.
Much better camera maybe but for a price difference between S9 and oneplus 6 which is still around 200-300 eur i can get a camera which does much better photos than any phone could ever imagine.
Wireless charging is stupid add-on which noone use.
With dash charge you can charge your phone in like one hour wvia wireless it takes several hours which is useless.
WR capabilities are thing of a future but in present not many people use it or know how it works.
So its support an useless tech which 99,9% of population never use.
Rest i told. Its a best phone for its value on the market. Comparable by only balck shark from xiaomi.

Brand new cost 520 euros.
Brand new S9 costed 950 euros.
When S9 dropped to 700 oneplus will drop to maybe 450.
Apple still overpriced.
Other flagships like P20 pro was 850 eur brand new now cost around 700 eur.
Oneplus still offers best phone for its price.
Noone can compete apart from Xiaomi Blackshark and Mi7 when it will be released.

AnonD-731363, 21 May 2018Man here in Slovakia S9 is for sale in 78 different shops p... moreFor more storage and ram OP6 is not worth it.. and in s8 you can actually put sd card, so put the storage aside.. so lets say ram, 8gb, you don't actually need it..6gb is more than enough... at same price, the s8 has much better display, resale value, much better camera, wireless charging, VR capabilities ( don't say OP6 can do it, at 1080p its unusable), and ofcourse we can't forget the waterproofing. lets say what OP6 has? nothing in it's defense. Not even a bundled earphone .. OP1 was amazing for only one reason. It was 300bucks.. thats not one plus's defense anymore

Oneplus 6 for 520 is still best phone for its money and have a 8GB ram and 256 GB disk space.
S9 offers nothing worth the money they ask for it.

Oneplus 6 is still the best phone for its value.
When comes to updates Samsung is always last and offers a zillion of useless add ons wand bloatware which looks like a part of an OS and you have no choice but to keep them.
Instead of Oneplus where you have the basic with free clean adroid which works fast and responds quickly.

The oneplus 6 outsells S9 with ease.
Nowdays the price is the best marketing strategy.
Brand new S9+ cost 1050 eur when released Brand new oneplus 6 coost 520 so half of that. And offers same basic specs. Like CPU GPU more ram almost same battery.

Also offers much better specs and bigger battery compared to superexpensive apple with nothing worth its price.
And dont know like you but i would never pay 50% for a brand sticker on a phone.

For its price its still one of the best phones on the market.
What others have that Oneplus phones are missing?
Water resistance for example but for what purpose noone swim with its phone.
Wireless charging maybe but the dash charge phone lugged into the electricity charge much faster than on a wireless charging.
There are lot more useless examples which Oneplus phones dont have because they are really not needed.
Apart from making your phone much more expensive brings nothing which is really important.
