OnePlus explains why the 6 doesn't have wireless charging

Same reason I won’t be getting your phone. I have wireless chargers in every room now. The last time I plugged in a cable was about 4 years ago. Adding glass back that will easily shatter, which is what the other companies did JUST to introduce wireless charging is beyond silly.

Shanti Dope, 22 May 20181. It's not even that expensive to have.
2. It doesn't eve... moreIt does add volume.
Funny how they don't want unnecessary features but have a useless dual camera which only used for bokeh effect which can be done using software alone. Didn't want to get left behind in the dual lens marketing

1. It's not even that expensive to have.
2. It doesn't even add any bulk to the phone at all.
3. More features is always better. We'd rather have it but not need it than to need it but not have it.

6T = IP67 + Qi
6 implemented glass back,
6T would implement the benefit of it - wireless charging, and also water resistance.
Maybe it would be IP68
That's for sure!

The glass back is their natural movement of business, easily breakable = more repairements = more money for them. It doesn't matter if they don't give you waterproof warranty, it doesn't matter if they don't add wireless charging. Who cares about what customers want. You sheep buy it and shut up. $$$$
P.S: I'll buy other phone with more features and similar price. Try to fool us again next time.

DarK, 21 May 2018to those who say why not just add Features ... if you ever ... moreI get that, but, if you don't have it with you, it is useless. I use wireless whilst I sleep. Works perfect, and is more convenient, and tidy. My kids no longer yank out the wire, they can just pick it up. Useful when charging is not time critical. And so cheap to add, it really must be the least expensive feature to add

Don't mind no wireless charging but absolutely hate glass backs. Messy, filthy, cheap looking smudge magnets not befitting true elegance or class.

Excuses, excuses, excuses. The funny thing is OnePlus has always an excuse for every situation. For losing over 40.000 credit cards officially and in real over 200.000 lost credit cards, sending customer data to their server over and over, for cheating in benchmarks, for their horrible cermera since OnePlus 1 to OnePlus 5T, for badword file and more and more always an excuse. We're familiar with OnePlus ecxuxes or better to say lies.

Kind of a silly thing to say, since the main advantage of switching to a glass back seems to be that it allows wireless charging. So without it they pretty much have changed the material just for the sake of doing it (probably to be "fashionable").

The wireless charge is going to make sense when its action radius is similar to that of a wifi ... not before.

Did they really just say that? But you added a notch, which contradicts what you just said OnePlus. Dear goodness.....
