Good to see HTC is finally breaking out of their overly serious mold. Although this seems awfully gimmicky. That's a ridiculous asking price.

The whole Dr Dre Beats thing is pretty gimmicky. Then again, it does make sense from a marketing perspective, since it is a music phone. The deal itself may persuade Dr Dre to include the phone in some of his artiste's music videos, so you never know, it may be a clever way of getting indirect exposure.

Honestly, I think it's better to have built-on BEATS speaker in a phone than just ear phones. I can just buy any HTC phone and plug it in with BEATS headphones.

I can get a home theatre..... haha just kidding but spects are not that good still priced like gs2 ...i was good without dr.dre.....sorry better i get a dual core in this price tag....

Beats by Dre are decent earphones or headphones but there are a lot of better and less inexpensive EP and HP out there.
As a headphile, I am more interested in knowing what audio chip was used. HTC + Beats is okay but HTC + BBE is for the win!

Just tried Beats headset, it is suck, poor quality better dont buy it. you can check it out, many people have negative comment on it, many forum also write so.
