OnePlus is the only other OEM than Google Pixel to run "stock android" + latest SoC + great camera in mid range price. Wireless charging? Thats a amenity, not necessity. It is slow and inconvinient. I had it on my S7 and got annoyed by it. Decided to use fast wired charging instead. If you want stock android, you can either get Pixel (with best camera) or OnePlus (great camera). There are no other options!

        In my region galaxy S9 from some retailers is even 50€ cheaper than OnePlus 6. So only an idiot gonna buy a OnePlus after all those stories what OnePlus catty with itself, like: cheating in benchmarks, sending customer data to their servers without any permission, over 40.000 hacked credit cards, spying on users, sending sensitive and important information what could cost the live of customer to their servers and Chinese covernments, one of the most horrible customer support ever, one if the most horrible guarantee system ever(people who contacted OnePlus like me know how horrible their guarantee system is), poor material, and at the end this device is only a midrange device except CPU and RAM nothing inside of this phone is a flagship or anywhere close to a flagship. People are just dumb they don’t think before decide or open their mouth, blindly they defend OnePlus or like idiot iSheeps who defend Apple.

            As with all arguments of wired vs wireless solutions when it comes to computing, a wireless solution is never intended to outpace or be faster than the wired counterpart but may likely be intended for convenience

                    People are crying because OnePlus added +20€ compared to the 5T?
                    Were you crying when Samsung added +109€ from S7 to S8? and +50€ from S8 to S9?
                    Were you crying when Samsung used on the S8, the same camera as the S7?

                      I will adopt wireless charging only if it works everywhere in my house otherwise it's useless, it can't compete with Dash charging, and why it is so hard to plug a cable in a USB type C reversible port?

                          It is just a interest ,not a purchase so oneplus 6 is not a game changer anymore!!!!

                            Money investment, if you bought a wireless charger and you've experienced it already. You'll find it really convenient. Sure. It's not purely wireless as you have to plug the mat/plate to somewhere.
                            Atleast that's my reasoning. ^^;

And as far as I know. For non supporting devices you may buy Qi/PMA enabling stickers to your phone so if you want it so badly for mere pennies. (about 5$ iirc)
                                and whilst it's not a dealbreaker for me. I don't really mind if it has or not

                                  LG Superfan, 27 May 2018I seriously dont get why people care so much about wireless... moreI personally always wanted a phone for over 3 years that had wireless charging - as I'd love to try it out on a daily basis, not having to find the cable and plug it in and stuff - but I would never have a device that would support it. I had the Galaxy S4, Xperia Z5, LG G6(UK version) and now the Pixel 2XL... I always wanted it, but never went for it just because a specific other device had it.

                                  I was disappointed when OnePlus didn't opt-in for the OP6, but it's certainly not a deal breaker - due to the fact that I'm not used to it, but for those who are - I really do see why it might be. The fact that you can literally just throw it onto a pad and get it charged in a certain amount of time is really great and comfortable - especially in the 21st century where the main selling point is 'comfiness' and 'ease-of-use-ness?' (is that a word...? :D ) - so there is certainly a point why people may be angry, and I get them.

                                  Overall, it ain't a deal breaker, it's more about how 'used' to it you've gotten over the years and how often you've used it and taken advantage of it.

                                      LG Superfan, 27 May 2018I seriously dont get why people care so much about wireless... moreSame here. I am grateful OnePlus still has the headphone jack and there is 256 gb option unlike Huawei flagships or Xiaomi. Also youtubers shown major improvements in oneplus technology for testing the phone durability so you are getting a lot more value for the money in terms of tests.Making some sort of splashproof according to water tests done by oneplus shows that oneplus might include 100% IP68 in the future.OIS on camera is also great to have. Many features included in this years models which are very positive for the price.

                                      Although,good expensive wireless chargers have fans included in so it can help the battery be cool during the charge.That's a positive thing imo.
