Jury ruled $539 million in damages should be paid by Samsung over patent infringements.

""the federal court in San Jose, California decided only on damages over three Apple patents that Samsung infringed - the rounded corners of its phone, the rim that goes around the device's front panel and the grid alignment of the icons.""

Now please someone explain me why its not a comedy show...
US patent system want to tell me that Apple OWN rights to quote: ""the rounded corners of its phone, the rim that goes around the device's front panel and the grid alignment of the icons""
Like none of phones before use it... and STILL use it, because yeah, almost ALL devices look like that... And best part is that Apple didnt really "invent" that....

This is best joke in technological industry of last 30 years....

I'm still amazed you can sue someone for rounded corners. And for having your icons in a grid layout...? Watch out Microsoft, Apple is coming for you.

Rounded Corners , Grid allignment .....WOW.....valuable invetions ..Totally deseves patent...
I think apple needs to patent the Front Display Notch and the Vertical back camera design....
Then the much hated Notch trend will be die

        Home button
        Home button as fingerprint scanner
        Glass body
        Headphone jack beside power connector
        Speaker beside power connector
        Tablets with 4:3 screen
        12MP camera
        2nd cam as telephoto
        52mm lens for telephoto
        Animated emojis
        Face unlock

I doubt Galaxy S and Note would have all this if iPhone did not have.
