Who cares? Got IP4 and SGS II so will skip IP5 as it is unlikely to be a significant leap, bar dual core which is purely future proofing, and go for IP6!

One is spread over multiple devices that has innovations but varies in performance, and another is on one model that excels in useability.

Apple might not be the best out of all, but i do feel better become a apple customer then a samsung customer, spec does not make you win everything. people buying iphone or apple products becouse it is somehow "kind" of "unique", And Samsung is like something you can buy on the market, is everywhere, not "Rare" Enough !!

IPhone4 is not the "best" phone, but it is by far the most expensive phone for its "specs".
The problem with Apple is that they do not only use great marketing, but they also try to use absurd arguments trying to force courts all over the world to make it illegal for everyone else but Apple to make "rectangular" touch-screen-phones. And Apple strongly restrict the iPhone-users freedom, and they even agreed to allow the ability to remotly turn iPhone-cameras of when the user is on a concert, even though the same technology then could be used by dictators to turn of iPhone-cameras during demonstrations... We liked Apple when they were fighting against the then gigantic Microsoft, but we are so disappointed now that Apple have become an even worse bully than Microsoft ever was. Apple should have been the one to use open and free software, but they choose the opposite with the most closed software and userenvironment of all that ever existed.
And it is funny how iPhone-users strongly believe that their iPhones are the "best" phones in the world simply because it is the most expensive. IPhones are a fashion-product first, and a phone second!
Apple copied the design of HP Compaq TC1000 http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/HP_Compaq_TC1100 when the designed iPad rectangular with rounded corners and thin, and Apple copied LG GD880 Mini, http://www.gsmarena.com/lg_gd880_mini-3078.php when they "designed" iPhone4, who will they copy for iPhone5?

[deleted post]Exactly. If they are satisfied with the previous versions, why wouldn't they want the next one? I'm not an Apple fan, but if one of my favorite bands has a new album out I'm getting it. With technology I still tend to look at the specs first, though, but to most people the iPhone already does more than they need.

I have a jailbroken 3GS, which I love; I got a Galaxy 2S a few months ago as I was impatient after waiting for the June no show of iP5. The S2 has to be used to fully appreciate how good it is, it's similar to the effect the first iPhone had. I really hope Apple pull something great out of the hat with the 5 as if anyone can it's them. However I fail to understand how anyone could buy anything before they know what it can do, brand loyalty is one thing but come on?
With the Nexus Prime coming out around the same time you have to stop and think first. I think most iPhone users are happy with the stock phone, the techies like to jailbreak or use Android. I believe Apple knows it Market very well. Two year contract or over £500 for a phone! You need to be sure or just stupid!

All signs show that this is going to be most selled smartphone ever, it's going to beat even iPhone 4 sells. Very interesting to see how many they can sell this year.

All I know is that if the 5 has the same aerial issue as the 4 I sent back then I will stick with my E72
Just look at the voting on here and you find real users vote real phones higher than the iphone
I think it will have to deliver if it wants to meet customer demand and get away from being a fashion accessory
