I want an N9 as much as the next guy, but we're not exactly dealing with professionals (Nokia) here. They've been yanking our chains with release days for a while now, and it's become obvious that the absolute earliest anyone will get their hands on this device is the 2nd half of October. All the signs point to this.

In Portugal, only FNAC shows the price for pre-order (19th October) and the prices are:
16GB Black : 650 €
16GB Cyan : 650 €
64GB Black : 730 €
These prices have a 10% discount, so it looks like these mobiles will be truly expensive on Europe.
And still Nokia.pt doesn't have any information about the price of this major device for Nokia.

Myriad may chose to offer it for sale.
However they "still" haven't said anything publicly.
If you do your homework though...
You'll know where to find all the apps coming for the N9.*
And surprisingly, there's quite a few already.
It's nothing like Android/iOS at this early stage.
But it's more than enough for a start...
Esp. considering harmattan has seemingly more functionality built-in than iOS/Android.
And yes I use both iOS & Android, and love them...
*there's several sources, they'll all be consolidated soon.

LOL you are sooo clueless it's funny....
The only similarities they have is the Linux kernel.
Even that is likely to be quite different.
Base, middle-ware, and UI are "very" different.
Android benefits from a huge user/hacker community.
But from a pure technical stand-point...
If MeeGo* had the same momentum, it'd be eating Android for breakfast now.
The tragedy is it doesn't have that momentum, & probably won't ever.
That doesn't mean it's not an interesting alternative, with a right to exist.

That it'll be supported. This time with a specific year of 2015.
