Dave, 14 Sep 2011UM 64GB version is going to cost a bomb.We have no idea yet...
All the rampant speculation about pricing is dumb.
All we have is pre-order prices (which are always inflated), & official RRP for "some" countries.
The RRP will vary from country to country, as will the actual street price.

And then there's the fact that street prices will improve dramatically over time.
Here in Australia the best street price still have about $180 to drop to match best SGSII prices.
But the latter's been here for 6mth, I have no doubt the N9 will get that low or lower.

In Malaysia even the official RRP is already lower than SGSII's RRP.
So not every country is the same...

And despite the claims that the hardware's shite, its actually not, if you understand every single fine point about it.
Superficially it loks shite, if you're clued-up you'll realize it's not.

mobileFan, 14 Sep 2011The question is who will support it going forward - Nokia a... more"support" is only necessary on a screwed up device.
Let's be realistic, most reading this blog keep phones a year or less.
Iphones get what, one update a year?
Android gets updates that nobody figure out what's updated.

So ya, you can throw the "support" term around, but unless this phone is royally screwed up, it really doesn't mean anything.
Besides, it's the meego maemo community that fixes most shortcomings on a device like this anyway. Not the manufacturer.

The Nokia Swipe is one of kind in industry, no other UI is even close to that.
I don't even get how ppl can say icons in Meego were taken from Android, they don't even look like iOS's icons.
While there's no sdcard slot the 64gb version is bigger than any combo you can go for on Android (all Android devices don't take the extended 32+gb cards atm).
You can pass on flash with a decent html5 browser. Yes, it lacks, but it's not a deal breaker for 95% of potential customers anymore.
Can use the 3.5" headphone jack to connect your N9 to the tv if you have to, while it's not HDMI, it's still possible.
