At first I disliked notch but now I dislike those who are just ranting on each and every thread about how ugly a notch is. If you hate notch then just don't buy the fuc*ing phone. There are plenty of other options. You want more screen on a compact phone and you hate notch. If you are so intelligent then why don't you yourself invent a fuc*ing solution for this problem. Just please stop complaining about notch.

Notch is the new... moremore estate?
the infinity display from Samsung still gives more estate then a notch
can the notch display pictures? NO
can it display video? NO
can it display games? NOOOOO
the ONLY thing it displays is notifications (like the infinity display BUT it has both on screen gesture and OLED)
oh and it has other DISadvantages
power consuming on LCDs even when UNused (fixed buy the expensive OLED)
GPU power consuming even when UNused (will it is a bigger issue on tallscreen and infinity display BUT small notch+tallscreen guess ;)
to be honest they are both useLESS tall screen has a use for it at least
why do manufacturer use the Notch? so they can claim more screen to body ratio even if most of it was UNused (not included in thr real estate};$)
first tall screen BUT when it got old (thinks to Google supporting it) they switched to NOTCH (tho Android P support the NOTCH so....
all because None has the Bulls to make a true bezeless (maybe ViVO NEX will do it) or because they love to copy Apple
Apple do us a favor and make a TRUE bezeless so we can have cheap bezeLESS Android ;)

Sadness. Always liked the symmetrical layout and curved rear of Moto phones, seems they have done a OnePlus 6, and gone all iPhone X. Moto? What happened to the sensible designs?

will we had it coming the signs were there but we were to blind to see (DUAL GLASS sandwich / tallscreen)
ether that Lenovo have convinced (FORCED) Moto to dump the drubality for the fancy designs
Moto are digging there own grave (if it is a an Android one a suppose it has Notch supporting Android P what is with the camera?)
this is a rebranded Lenovo (serusly Moto? your going to let Lenovo DESTROY your dignity?)
any way it is just another iNOTCH it won't sell out said China

You Xiaomi fans seriously need a reality check , Xiaomi is just another counterfeit Company.
Also this phone will seriously do well , it will be of better quality than Xiaomi phones and People Worried about Updates will be Happier with Android One program.

Can you see?
Notch is the new trend here.
Samsung will follow soon because they know what os the best for the market. I bet their market survey outside GSMarena and outside internet shows that notch is not a problem and people actually love it.
Notch phone is very popular in my country. I see them more and more these days.
You all notch haters are just influenced by youtubers and your fellow haters.
Notch is very modern looking compared to ugly bezel in s9 or s8. We get more screen real estate in a compact body. Well I do agree they have to get rid of the chin.
