Most useless feature, wasting battery for nothing, it's like you can't press a button or tap on a screen when you need to check time, come one!

Taskman, 31 May 2018I really hope they keep the dots. It's very clear this is ... moreI think they keep dots, but there is a bug and sometimes you have dots next to wifi icon even if there is no other icons :P

The three dots are shown there even there would be space for more icons. It only shows Wifi, mobile, battery ... and the three dots. There would be still available space for at least 4 icons.

I told you, I told all of you.
The battery life is just an excuse, its a lie. A much less efficient display on the LG G6 manages fine with AlwaysOn Display feature, there's no excuse for the OnePlus 3->6 to not have it.
The reason why it wasn't included was because they rushed everything. It's coming. They just gotta fix it, before rolling out the update. The next 2-3 updates are going to be big ones bringing back features from the old devices, and squashing bugs. After that it might be time to release the OnePlus 6t, which looks to be more of the same, however they plan to bring Wireless Charging and small cosmetic changes. The OnePlus 7 will be the one to get the In-Screen fingerprint reader after the Samsung GalaxyX.

I really hope they keep the dots.
It's very clear this is to inform you that you have hidden icons.
If they remove it without an option to see that i have hidden notifications they can just remove the icons all together.
It's a notch feature. ASUS, Huawei and probably others to the same.
