AnonD-11450, 16 Sep 2011 thats what my point is that this suits better for pc s not... moreThat's I told you earlier itll suit more on a tablet rather than a phone. To tell you the differeces, I cant tell you as early as now for I aint a developer or maker of thi chipset. But I Have a vision that a quad-core tablet will be usable for Adobe professional tools, higher level of gaming and also for programming. Perhaps this chipset will be supported by windows os for tablet.

I don't see where this says a 2.5ghz quad core. I think that isn't real realistic. It says "up to 2.5ghz", which probably only applies to single or dual core devices.

The "octo-core" processors will be most probably for (fullHD)tablets.
The dual core is sufficient for phones, since their screen resolution will be limited.
I'll have a laugh when Nokia will launch their 1GHz single core Windows phones, while Android and Apple will launch 2.5GHz dual-core phones.

Wow already quadcore mobile phones :). OK a i know the tablest are incuded too in this future upgrade, but lets talk about the phones now. Not too long ago intel made for the pc's the allmighty i7 quad core cpu 920 clocked at 2.66. In just two years a PHONE will have the same power - OMFG. This is great but we'll not pay only for the cpu's themselfs. Now with q core we'll be able to really play pc/console graphics-like games. I can't wait too play Crysis on my phone or a real implementation of GTA iv .Think about it , right now i can play Quake 3 on my Samsung Galaxy S. Why not all the rest of the pc /console games. The future is now. Come to think about it i always knew that this will come one day . The PC/console era might be closer to their end than we realise it. With the ability to connect a kweboard and a mouse (or a gamepad) and the ability to use the tv out, a q core phone/tablet will outsmart a pc/ console in seconds. And this is good news after all but it'll take some time before we can realy play pc/console like games right on a phone/tablet. Need for Speed 25 maybe ;).
