Judging from the specs, the quad core 2.0 ghz is possible as nvidia announced its quad core processor kal-el for mobile and tablet devices.

so the icrap 5 might be released this year from crapple and people will commit for 2 years and then a few months later this monster will be getting unleashed and it will still be way cheaper, think i know what i will be doing, i wonder if crapple will sue them for these specs and say they have already thought of the specs and was planning on putting them in there icrap 9, would not surprise me

No need of Quad-core. Burns too much. Will see how is situation with dual-core considering battery.
I think Samsung S is still perfect for most needs. Quad-core or dual core would be usefull when some true GIMP or Fotoshop would be able on Android.

However you are entitled to your opinion and i respect that, it's the same thing with cars. Lots of folks are saying that they don't need these social media distractions in thier cars. Many non tech-heads, ie, the casual consumer which are the majority, will most likely agree with you too.

The PPI number is a correct, but this is also exaggerated... a "normal" 1280x720 (aka 720p) screen at 4.1" diagonal will have the same pixel density. Ok, sure, most of these are 4.3" right now, but that won't last. 720p is certainly the de-facto standard resolution for high-end smartphones in 2011, so this is pushing things a bit, if the number is correct. But it might also be past the threshold for a comfortable pocket fit.
Quad core isn't crazy, and there will be tablets doing quad core this year, phones next year. This isn't really the power hog it seems, as long as power management software is good. This is because clock speeds can be scaled, and power consumption goes up with the square of frequency. So downclocking two cores will save you half the power over a single core at full speed, going to four cores running at 1/4 speed will use only 25% the power of the single core, all else being equal. That only works, of course, if the load can be distributed across all N processors.
And these days, the CPU is only a power hog when fully loaded, anyway. Chances are, the display is sucking more power by far... so AMOLED is actually the big win here, versus LED-backlit-LCD.
What has me most worried about is the size of the camera. Either they're selling only "marketing pixels" in that 10Mpixel sensor, or the sensor is larger than the typical smart phone sensor... and the lens, etc. Here's the thing... at 5Mpixel, the diffraction limit on a 1/4" sensor is about f2.8... just about where the phone lenses are. So when you got to 8Mpixel, unless you boost the lens to f1.8 or so, you're not actually improving anything. At 10Mpixel, you need f1.4 or so (doing this in my head, but you get the idea). Or a larger sensor... which goes against the trend of thinner phones.
And of course, even if the image actually does improve, sticking at 1/4" means the pixels get smaller. So the performance gets pretty horrible as the light goes down. In short, if you stick to the same 1/4" sensor, a 4-5Mpixel may actually be a better thing in a smartphone for the real world... less noise, just as sharp, and of course, anything at 2Mpixel can deliver just dandy images for your 1080p video.
