Well, I think it's totally doable, Terga promised QUAD CORE tablets, and we got duel core phones, before duel core tablets, so this is beyond doable within the next year. Ironic, that's better then the 1000$ Mac Book Air. I'm a bit worried about the battery though. However, the OS will most likely be Jelly Bean, not ICS, because Jelly Bean is coming out 2nd Q next year, about/just before this phone.

These processors use mostly ARM CPUs used with a different GPU. They will be fast, reliable, and multi-tasking will not be a concern anymore. They have similar names but in reality they are far from similar. Not nearly as powerful as a quad-core desktop. Maybe on par with a dual-core 2.2ghz CPU.

This is how it will work efficiently. initially, only single core is active to run the system. When the system demands for more support, multi tasking will trigger the other cores to wake up. from single core, 2 until it reaches 4. 4 cores are not active all the time.

Some people are saying this is a rumour and a fake, and you know what? You could be right! BUT take a look at the Galaxy S 2 specs and compare them to the Galaxy S and then think to yourself whats the next logical step for the Galaxy S 3? I'm thinking these specs generally arent unrealistic especially since we all know quad core chips for mobiles are in production and it will be a year before they release the S3. Please Samsung, please take my Galaxy S 2 and give me one of these =D

Newest processors are built in smaller sizes and consume less power than older same type processors, but that somehow do not work on mobile phones, because lot of people aren't very satisfied with battery life of Dual-core phones.

However I will agree with you in saying the specs sound fake. I believe the cam will be at least 12mp. Writing this now, I bet you Samsung are already planning the successor to the S3 with Quad Core 2.5Ghz processor, 4.8-5.3 inch screen res of 1280x resolution with a 16-20mp camera with xenon flash

I don't believe this rumor, its to early for specs to come out for this phone, it is coming out in 2012 (next year)the reason i dont believe the specs is that they wouldnt jump that quick in tech, quad processor... 2 ghz... android 4.0... how would they know this if google isnt even close we are still at 2.3.4, what would they leave left for the s4? anyway im going to wait until it actually comes out and thats when i will get rid of my s2
