My new S9+ came preloaded with Chrome... No sight or mention of its own browser anywhere...

Is definitely best browser available to your Samsung phone or in overall. Not sure how it performs on non Samsung devices but on Samsung devices is smooth, efficient and blazing fast, Chrome falls behind easely in all those aspects comparing to Samsung Internet Browser

It is a great browser. Using since Note 4 and currently on Note 8.
It's got an Adblocker that actually works, navigation bar at the bottom instead of top
Still have to use Chrome for some things occasionally though (chromes auto-translate is still much better than using the s-pen translate function)

We experienced android world users, we root our devices, we modifie our operation system as we need and we like to use it, we use special apps to protect our phone from adwerisins, fishing or trackers praying eyes, so i guess you have to root your device and get reed of that fake apps you are using as a alert for other apps they are meant for dedicated company business interest.

Samsung's browser blocks malware sites, ads, tracking and social site tracking without the need to install illegal keys.

Sounds like a privacy nightmare. Just starting it, it attempted 22 connections to outside servers. And 10 more attempts to send user data, while just looking at it and doing nothing. Uninstalling.

Fingerprint and iris i will never ever use in aplications rather then that fingerprint on look screen that's all, the reason is that clear personal ID privacy protection and not being exploited on wrong company,agency, piracy or criminal gang data colectors archive!!

Does it have reader mode? Does it have night light? Does it scan your iris for security? Can it change font, background color and suff? Dude, speedial and bookmark is not even new. That is pretty much standard feature on all browser.

I don't think there is many people who use this browser, it's good at tendering websites and so on but costumisations of menus and some properties is at steak, but as for a better android browser there is only one that beats them all is Boat Browser and ones you costumise speeddials and bookmarks user settings then there is no other browser that can beat it not even from computer browsers, the unlock key can be found on internet, as for alternative browser there is new VIA browser fast one but is not so good a boat broser.

Using Samsung Internet for a year now.
Just the best browser i have used till now.
Samsung pass is awesome, works almost on all sites.
Reader mode is good.
Ad block, cricket with extension is good.

This is one of the few good things that Samsung provides including Gallery, File explorer, native music & video player.

My Huawei Y7 Prime's internet browser is Samsung Internet. XD
It's the best I've ever used since the Galaxy S3 back in the old days!

I like the browser so much I'm using Beta even though I already got the standard version with my Samsung.
