Let's be honest, without a fast charger, my galaxy a12 takes 3 hours to be fully charged, that's pretty good knowing that my old grand prime plus could take an eternity to fully charge and go down in less than 2 hours

Anonymous, 15 Jun 2018Removable battery will not be passed the drop test.Umm... Are you sure? Because I can name a large number of solid phones that easily passed drop tests.

Definitely a bigger battery. Why not give us an option on Sami Note of buying 10k mAmp? You already give us storage options, give us battery ones.
Also can someone please tell me how to get 2 days of Note 8 while i can barely get 10 hours, with nearly few texts and one or 2 regular phone calls, and nothing else at all!?

Anonymous, 11 Jun 2018Why build a power bank capacity aka 4000~5000mAh into a pho... moreI agree that we need better battery tech, too much focus on phones these days is about the camera. That's all they really can differentiate with. To the naked eye most of them will look just as good to anyone. You look at nit picky comparisons where one may win out because of some very subtle differences, but in the end most people are not pro photographers. Most people post to facebook or instagram or just to have memories.

Where phones really need some innovation are batteries as well as input. Since phone screens are getting bigger using one hand isn't viable anymore. Someone needs to find a great way to be able to use the phone without struggling or risking dropping it.

I am somewhere in between. I don't mind bigger battery and more mm, but would not get crazy if phones battery is "only" and must get as bigger as possible. Ro is right too, you have more efficient everything these days and fast charge fills your battery in 1-2 hours time, which is amazingly convenient. But as Victor said you pretty much dependant on healthy battery and if you keep charging like crazy a phone everyday, battery will die in no time. I trying to keep my s8 alive for around more than one day and charge it every second day with one go from low to full. It worked well with my previous phones and to be honest I never needed to change battery even in single one of them, some already is 7 years old :)

Why makers forgot removable batteries? Remember the LG G5? That's why. They try to be different, but they just get punished by it.

Thanos like to balancing something. Slim phone with big enough battery is the best. Such as Zenfone Zoom S, or Huawei flagship series.

Bigger battery must have faster charging speed, it will come with greater battery degradation too.

Ro is being hopelessly optimistic about the proliferation of fast charging especially among budget devices, power efficiency of most components and the convenience of big batteries. Big batteries all the way until battery tech attains significant progress.

And I forgot to mention that I'm never going to buy any phone with non-removable battery. The phones that have non-removable battery are disposable, planned obsolescence, fashion accessories, garbage phones.

As long as the battery is removable I don't care about the size of the battery. Because with removable battery I can replace the stock battery with a 2x or 3x bigger extended battery.

Why not best of both ?
