As it stands, no degree of optimization could truly make up for volume of raw energy that comes with large batteries. Samsung's come close but it's still not optimal. But i can only imagine the latest exynos coupled 4000mah. That would be a beast indeed.

I want to go back to removable batteries, but I know the market is not going back there

I accept 2 days moderation usage of battery endurance. I don't mind bring a portable charger when it has a huge load of task for the day.

I believe the majority will always prefer the phone with the bigger battery. As long as battery technology does not experience a real breakthrough, then bigger will still be better.

I don't know what the author(s) were expecting. The I.T. community isn't stupid. We know a bigger battery carries a consequence of a thicker phone but that's a simple compromise we're willing to make.

4,000mAH appears to be the new minimum. Here's hoping the Razer 2 phone has a bigger battery than that.

Of course bigger battery, no doubt with that.

there isnt any excuse, i had the galaxy note 8 with a pretty poor 3300mAh battery? and i also have a fabulous performing huawei p20 pro, smaller phone but with a 4000mAh battery inside? go figure, its not that difficult to fit a bigger battery into these phones, and even increasing them by a few mm will add even more life

I have to use a battery case for my iPhone which makes it twice as thick so Obviously I prefer a bigger battery in my phone

I want to be able to go away for the weekend and not have to take a charger with me. Bigger battery better.

Replaceable battery with a tiny cell battery so my phone doesn't reboot while swapping is best. My ancient Psion 3 pda had that - and also ran for a week on 2 AA batteries.

Bigger battery. Phones are by definition slim. What do you want? Bloody papercuts?

That slimness is starting to affect other useful functionality on phones and has resulted in a lot of negative design trends. No thanks. Give me a thicker phone and a solid battery/cam any day of the week.

Bigger battery or slim cell phone? A very topical question. In today's time when smartphones became a part of everyday life and even a mandatory thing for a normal individual, in addition to all the miracles of technology, there was one component of the whole circuit that has not experienced tremendous progress and which, with its present capabilities, does not satisfy the needs of an individual using an smartphone or similar device . That's the battery! Considering the development of the present invention from its beginnings to the present day there are no such huge changes that lead to great usability and changes that satisfy the need of today's users of various smart devices. I think one who hopes to extend the durability and battery life while retaining the dimensions of known batteries used in the devices or even the ability to create more power than today's batteries, create the foundation for the future a lot, otherwise we will stay dependent on the wall outlet. I hope that time will come soon! :)
