It's because Chinese consumers of this Chinese company Huawei like big screens that are easy to hold. It explains Huawei's obsession with 18:9 and 19:9 and for trimming the bezels down.

Actually, if it's a 18:9 screen, the screen's width will.be as big as the regular.mate 10 with taller screen

Just wondering: How well are apps doing on Huawei phones? I read that there are apps incompatibility issues with their flagships like P20s. Things like apps not receiving / delayed incoming notifications, apps crashing etc etc??? Some even commented that payment apps like Google Pay is not working well due to the Google services compatibility issues. I know Google Maps was having problems with P20 when it was launched. Some have to log out of their Google accounts in order to mitigate the issue.

When I was not so old as these days... 7” devices was called tablets like google Nexus 7” version...
I know that people in Amerika Are getting bigger, but I always beleived that it means that they were getting fatter... Oh boy how wrong I was... no every young man has to have hand size that is at least douple of mine...

Please let it be 16:9 and not 18:9 or 19:9 ... It will literally look like a letterbox with the latter.
