S9 has serious hardware drains which is even worse and cannot be fixed via updates. Now that's what I called unacceptable comparing to iOS s/w bugs.

Please stop your senseless debates here. You have no idea what you are posting.

Anonymous, 14 Jun 2018I just replaced the iPhone 6 battery last month and was so ... moreBut if you listen to millions of people around the world it's just another usual thing that implies nothing on Apple's behalf of poor quality. So sad.
And I hope you have a good case for the 6. There was an article just recently that showed documentation proving apple knowthe apple time how easy it bent and the issues that came with it. Of course we knew this already but they still claimed otherwise and blamed the users. And still probably will and everyone here will still defend them.
But the behind thing and following touch/ display issue are real.
Especially sincethe documentation was releasedif you do run into the issue ar some point don't let them tryand charge/ over charge, or blame you. Stand your ground that it's a manufacture defect.

I just replaced the iPhone 6 battery last month and was so happy with the results. I could use it for 4hrs and let it be on standby for over 24hrs until it ran low. I updated the software recently and last night I went to bed with it at 100%, woke up and it was at 59% with 15mins usage and 6.5hrs standby. It sat on my nightstand and died with nothing touching it on a brand new battery! Hence why I googled and am glad to see similar responses, but I really hope it gets sorted out.

AnonD-122899, 14 Jun 2018"Anf situation to create to try and justify such unacceptab... moreYou having the audacity and foolishness to not only defend this but try and deflect and make up such ridiculous excuses.
Oh batteries degrade... what in the world does that have to do with anything here??? This is clearly about a big causing high battery drain on batteries that were not rapidly draining.
That alone clearly shows you know you are lying or just that blind a follower.
And even with degrading batteries being an issue, clearly it's a lot more an issue when the capacity you start off with is already barely above half of what half priced phones have. That only degrades that much faster.

That's what's unacceptable. On top of the fact that its happening again and at all. And most people are now stuck with this update until another update comes out. And then they can hope it fixes it. But as the past few years clearly shows that could easily take another few updates. Leaving people to want to get a new phone.
Which is probably why they do it and barely leave everyone enough time to be allowed to roll back.

Stuff like this not happening is supposed to be why apple costs more. But it always happens. And then users like you still defend them. It's crazy how naive people are.

What's so unacceptable? Battery wears and bugs in OSes are very common things. Android does not get spared from these as well. What's there to be faulted by Apple? It's insanity to think they can continually get away with things like this. One horrible buggy updates after another. And then force everyoneto be stuck on it into of it for absolutely nogood reason at all. Clearly if they wont let you back on 11.3 they a dirty agenda.
