All the complains as if they all had seen the phone, hold it, play with it, broke it and spend a goddam time with it. Wow, just wow. You all must be time travellers. I dont want to sound stupid now with all the ignorant claims when the phone eventually release for real NEXT YEAR. Too early to judge.

Anonymous, 14 Jun 2018For millions of people, spending USD 2000 is like buying a ... moreDidn't say there weren't people looking to buy such unnecessary stuff at a hilarious price tag
What I meant to say was that they should assign special products for people who are daft that don't realize the difference between 16:9 and 18:9 aspect ratio let alone those who would buy 19.9:9; people who couldn't tell the diff between 5.99'' and 7.3'' with a divider
One could buy 2018 Ferrari GTC4Lusso for $300,000 and one match box shopper could buy a 1962 Ferrari 250 GTO for $38 million, I know which I'd buy

If they can sell it for $1k it'll be successful. It will be an unfortunate failure if they give it a 2K price point.

BrokenLawShaw, 14 Jun 2018You haven't even seen the real image of this particular pho... moreEhh its a treadmill dude. Always the same story, but customers always more dumb. There is no future of flip phones with screen. They will put smaller batteries with higher resolution screens (2 screens) and It will be same problem as in past, once screen will suddenly stop working because of flat cables or something else and you pay 2k for that. But will hold and wait for Samsung to solve it. Probably not until 2021.

There are 3 things that will hold back this phone depending on Samsung take:
1. Issue with connection in the hinge, or maybe flex cable on how they will hold up abuse
2. how to protect the screen, specifically aftermarket stuff like screen protector, tempered glass won't do isn't, so did we go back to plastic one? If that the case won't the cover layer of the screen would be some kind of plastic too, so external protection is must
3. In conjunction to 2nd point, if the screen break, wouldn't it cost a dime to get it replaced and will it be replaceable at all

is it worth it. as a workable concept and a step into the future. maybe. but it kinda depends how many screens it got. if it got more then 1 screen its just shenanigans
