By the look of the schematics, looks like two screens attached. That is all about it.

Androidloveralways, 14 Jun 2018Why don't they try to make bezel less transparent phones? Probably right after they figure out how to make a transparent battery

This is a perfect example of a solution in search of a problem. Nobody fucking want's a foldable $2,000 phone there is no real-world benefit. It has mechanic parts, high stress zones, double thickness, awkward holding positioning, double the drain on battery life, clunky laptop mechanics for a phone and did I mention costs as much as two iphone X's...

It's like Samsung being able to create a unique triangle shaped display wow so new, so innovative, and instead of asking hey... actually a triangle isn't an ideal form factor for a phone, but just because we can make the display into a triangle lets try it anyway maybe some idiots will fall for it and VIOLA, we have the triangle display phone and the double triangle display phone that unfolds into a square!

Surely it won't be the only foldable. Same for price.

As an enthusiast , who's bored with the glass slabs that phones are nowdays, seeing a "new" design on the market is very attractive regardless the price point, people are willing to shell out money for what they really want so that's not an issue really .

Samsung, make it sleek and elegant just like you used to do back in the days with your phones , with the E900 , U700 , i640 , L170, the W chinese series lineup ; keep it high specced and we will buy it. Thank you.

As for the ones saying oh the hinge will break or the cables will break , this and that , y'all must of been born in the post iPhone era with just slab phones, remember we used to have flip phones, slider phones, swiveling phones etc, numerous inovative designs that differentiated products and gave them diversity in the market which at least my 90's generation used to love and lust for , designs were different from one manufacturer to another and we expected that, it didnt keep us from buying a slider phone cose of the posibility of it tearing it's cable in two or more years. Plus, that was way back in 2005 ~ 2008 , since then materials have advanced, technology has advanced , surely stuff isn't as "fragile" as it was back in the day .

And to top it all off, nowdays you buy and use a phone for 2~ 3years , after that you get a new one cose in the years that have passed , technology has evolved so much that you just can't resist getting that ultra micron pixel camera or that aerogel new caseing or whatever newness they implement in phones.

Anyways, yes Samsung , do bring the foldable display phone to the market, I want it.
