Samsung Gear S4 to come with bigger battery

I have Gear S2 and it is wonderful. Device is 2.5 years old, but battery time did not degrade. It still can handle 1.5 days with always-on-display. Yeah. So old device already has AOD, but does Apple Watch have it? Apple is just a black glossy rectangle on your wrist, but Samsung is a great looking watch. I should admit Apple Watch faster respond on raise hand gesture and more smooth. Yes you need to restart Gear once about a week or it start to drain battery faster and faster. But I think Apple should adopt the AMOLED (as it done for its phones) and round shape.

The battery has taken a hit for the worse, Bluetooth has gotten worse, and it glitches out often.
I don't wanna buy another phone this close to the new iPhones coming out in September. So me saying that was just a little way to blow off some steam

I have an old Gear 2 and it is maddening at times, when it highjacks my calls, often overriding my car BT connection to my Pixel, so I cannot use use the car microphone and speakers when making calls. It also randomly refuses to connect to my phone through BT and I have to reset the watch to get it to connect again.
Apple Watch is somewhat more reliable, in my experience, and the user interface is better.

I hope they fix the charging issue. I have a Gear S3 and it often overheats when charging. A common issue if you follow the Samsung forums and Samsung has done bugger all about it so far. It started after the Tizen 3 update.

Any idea if the samsung galaxy s4 would also include a newer chispet than the old ones? I hear android werables are on older chipsets for a while but that would be a double bonus for battery life if it's on a newer chip too.

If you can have little gadget on your wrist what can tell you time, messages you've got, show you emails and you can replay to messages and even calls without getting your phone, I think it's pretty convenient. Plus you have all health monitoring stuff which more and more people using nowadays.
Look at apple watch sales and you'll understand that people like to use smartwatches.

Is there any good google maps application on Tizen? I guess there is one on Wear OS, but I must admit I am more interested in a gear smartwatch, and having a maps on your wirst seems a good idea when on a moto or bike
