Counterclockwise: selfie photography with cameras that rotate and slide

17 June 2018
The clash between the selfie cam and thin bezels birthed the notch. The vivo NEX S has one solution, but history has a few more suggestions.

imagine this. if the humankind never had invented the selfie and therefore never had a front camera usage. bezel less phones would have been a thing for a decade now.

we would probably be in the hologram phone era by now. like they have on the TV show "The Expanse".

Pabliell, 17 Jun 2018People tend to say "bezelless is boring". Yes, it kinda is.... moreKinda agree, nowdays the only proper way of differentiate phone from a distance is by looking at the back
For now the distinguishable back design is samsung, sony, iphone(just because the apple logo, otherwise...), huawei and the "gaming phone"

My dad purchased Nokia 5700 and most of the photos taken from that phone was selfie... But I got know that it's as selfie in 2012.

People tend to say "bezelless is boring". Yes, it kinda is. But that's just the front, where we want as much screen estate as we can.
The real problem with smartphones is on the back panel. Everything is glass these days. Add similar camera placement and you'll be searching for a logo to know what brand it is.
Do you still remember what we had a few years back? LG G4 with leather, V10 with rubbery plastic, Moto X Style with bamboo panel, metal phones from HTC. And who remembers old Moto Razr with Kevlar? Good old times, when manufacturers were not afraid of experimenting.
            I miss those times.
