In my opinion having a mechanism for selfie camera (and for everything else) is a dealbreaker for me

Nowadays phones coming with 128gb storage and soon most of manufacturers will make 256gb as well. And you still need sd card slot? Just why? Imagine how many pictures, videos, games you can save? Or you are preferring 4k videos and so on? Just it's pretty useless on phone... sd slot is dying same as headphone jack since bluetooth headphones are future.

19.3:9 aspect ratio is too tall. I don't even support the move from 18 to 16 and to go beyond 18 is just ridiculous. All the extra space gives you is some more scrolling room. Most media are displayed as if the screen diagonal was only 5.7 inch.

I voted for both because they are the first Vivos where the company invested money in R&D rather than copying the latest iPhone, add a 24MP selfie camera with beauty filter and sell it overpriced.

They're both very good phones with great specs,but they cost $600-700..in China!So,in Europe they'll cost 20-30% more,at least,so I'm very curious how will Vivo compete against S9,XZ2,V35,G7,IP8.,P20,Mate10..for the same $$$.and availability could me major issue,nevermind software updates..

And u seem to be the one who is stuck in the past. Almost no High end Android offers SD slot now(even when they do it's only a hybrid slot). And this phone gives 128 and 256GB options which is among the highest out there and way more than enough for most people.
U seem to want to just bash this phone instead of appreciating all the things it has done right. So how bad do the other phones look to u if this one isn't good enough?

there is no ablance between top and bottom bezel and the selfie cam seems very fragile

Definitely hot and especially happy they kept the headphone jack for both.
I guess VIVO just doesn't have the courage, but that's better for the consumer.

Almost unique if it isn't because of the vertical camera set up. (Don't argue with me, we all know tgat most smartphones these days has that kind of camera design)

P... moreYou're pathetic because the only great features are the big notch-free display, Pop-out camera & big battery so there is no nitpicking going on at all here yet to the contrary, these features that the guy mentioned should be freaking standard by now ffs..
One example I'll give you is that I'm not going to pay for cloud storage when I got plenty microsd cards around so this phone isn't for me nor the guy you replied to since it doesn't have a card slot like its supposed to.
No card slot in a phone is like a woman without her vajayjay - who'd want that? Obviously you lmao.

Is it lacking in features? Absolutely. But in this year of terrible phones copying that God-forsaken notch, these are a breath of fresh air with them trying something new. Here's to the future.
