POOR Customer experience with OnePlus bullets wireless headphone. I had purchased this on Jan 22, 2019 via order Number M111901223272052232. It stopped working since last week. As I was busy in my office work I did not get a chance to call last week. Today I reached out to their customer support number and they said they cannot do anything about it. Cannot even provide repair service even if I pay for it since 1 year warranty got over 4 days back. I wonder if the quality of headphone is such that it stops working just around the warranty period and no support given. I have been buying Oneplus mobiles and headphones from Oneplus 5 days. But did not expect if we really run into an issue Oneplus would leave the customer in waters.

As i have commented ones before on this topic about wireless earbuds, perhaps there is some of them with big name some guys are not happy with the quality of their earbuds they experienced with, that happen to me several times i bought some middle range wired headphones that was not good at all sound quality even i try modding with phone equalizer, but anyway that was in the past, but sens i mowed to wireless earbuds i will not go back for wired headset and all that cables around pfff.
With my wireless earbuds SHB5800 from Philips i don't need to use equalizer at all never and the sound quality treble\bass and vibration is excellent, actually i never hear or feel vibration on wired analog headset.
I read some comments from some guys who have bad experience with wireless headset or maybe they never try and here they talk negative thought's.
I read someone mention Bluetooth data transfer is not enough for high quality sound?!
Well, i can say that is more than enough and much as i understand the way it works phones and wireless devices the Bluetooth is just data transfer and not a analog signal transfer to the wireless earbuds, so the Bluetooth earbuds device is built with it's own hardware architecture set to combine high quality sound through it's own built speakers, that means the device is built with Bluetooth data receiver/interrogator, digital/analog sound processor, power stereo amplifier and speakers, so the wireless device receives data, processes it delivering to stereo power amplifier and pushes sound through speakers, and if it's not good power stereo amplifier and speakers built in device, than it is useless that some companies claim a list of DAC ACC.....hardware built in it.
Someone ask if microphone is good, well is not better than Samsung built microphone with noise filters, but is average and i don't complain about that, but there is few companies who claim to have add in their wireless earbuds microphone with built noise filters.

Did you guys already tried... moreCreative? To be honest, everything Creative make and it's not a sound card or a Bluetooth speaker, it usually sucks ... like a big time.
Can't think of a decent pair of headphones they made in 10 years.

Sure DACs and Amplifiers are another stories, but the quality of the music degraded so much.
I don't mean it in a way "dubstep is bad" or something, just mixing and loudness war in general.

Fearghast, 18 Jun 2018Unlikely it will ever be better - wire does have 0 latency ... moreit's true that they only use the one Codec but for casually listening to music on the bus to and from work it's more than sufficient. and like i said with the advancements in tech the latency, bandwidth and power concerns may not even exist. as i said we move forward and advance just needs time compare audio quality that we can get now with what we got in the 80's and you'll see how far we can go in such a short time.

Bose you say ... Bose never used a decent Bluetooth codec, it's only SBC, am I correct?

so i used to be a Wired headphone user but switch to a pair of Bluetooth Bose 6 years ago and there still going strong, I still use Wired headsets for gaming/streaming but for when i'm out and about the freedom given by not having a wire makes a big difference for me. the thing i'd like to point out for the die hard wired fans is that it was a system that's been improved over more than millennia where as true wireless headphone have been around for maybe 20 years tops, and it's jumped in leaps and bounds. by the time the development of wireless has gone as long as wired you'll not be able to tell the difference and audio may even be coded i a way that makes is superior. so all i'm trying to say is give it time and a chance you may be pleasently surprised.

Best examples are those USB DAC sticks with xxbit DACs, sounding poorly with noticeable noise floor.

No. It's uncommon for a professional AV studio/audiophiler that used a BT wireless audio equipment, and let's hope there's a better (bigger bandwidth) WiFi-connected earphone.
