Anonymous, 18 Jun 2018Elitist trash talk...Well, not really, most professional studio don't use that, also the quality of the smallish bandwidth Bluetooth (800Kbps pffft) connected AV hardware would never reach any high quality wired one.

    I myself try to use really decent headphones, some of them are wireless (just 3 pairs), I have a SoundBlaster X7 LE + Grace m920 as a desktop DAC ... but am I an audiophile?
    Hard to tell IMHO.

        Most of them use built-in DAC made by Qualcomm.
        + LG V30 does have a 32bit DAC ... so what? It does not help you in any way, shape or form over 24bit or mostly even 16bit DAC.
        DAC is not everything ...
        BTW: I am LG V30+ owner as well.

        Edit: Same goes for AMPs.

          Wireless audio experience is decent these days, but wired is on a whole another level.

              Looks interesting enough.
              I might pick them for some casual listening in a gym. Now I use (most of the time) QCY QY19, but the signal stability and fit are not that great for me (good but not great).

              Sadly Bullets are out of stock everywhere I looked.
              BTW that battery life vs. size on Bullets, I am really not a big fan of those huge things dangling on my neck.

                  ...because there's nothing I need more than one more thing to need to keep charging all the time. Hell no, it's jack or bust.

                    Not to mention with bluetooth its cut at 20Hz down, and while it can do 2Mbit, only about 1/5 is used in aptX.
                    Well, still nothing can replace vibrations felt by body... Maybe just that sony's vibration tech a bit.
                    Also though everyone seems to care about audio quality at least a bit, just a few know that what they record, like mono audio and not too loud. LG phones are the only ones capable of satisfying audio recording in Any conditions.(not counting lumias even if they are better).

                      They should have tried the in ear style Bluetooth headsets and then sold them with Bluetooth 5.0 as the new technology.

                      Instead this is old wine in older bottle. They just made it easier to fill (USB C faster charging) and called it revolutionary. At the best it may be good value for money. And overall decent sound for the money.

                        Why is the fact that this Bluetooth headset is using older 4.2 Bluetooth technology never mentioned anywhere in the review.

                        It should be a serious con when all flagships and even mid range smartphones have the newer Bluetooth 5.0, including the OP6

Majority(99pc) will pick wired headphone, anyday anytime. Compare sound quality of this particular wireless earphone with a wired earphone of same cost, in all probabilities, the wired one trumps this wireless. But with majority of smartphones having poor to just decent DACAMPs inside them, one may not observe the actual difference in SQ between a wired and wireless headphones.

Besides, BlueTooth audio have improved over the years and now u can't even tell the difference if compared with the wired one, so why hate on it when u can just appreciate?
