What Is the hole in the back of phone case itself? What's the purpose??? It's annoyed at best tbh.

Google should really stop making phones but instead get into point and shoot cameras because thats the only thing that is good on their pathetic pixel phones .. lol !!

I'll buy it anyways it feature every little things i want in my daily driver : excellent hardware and production quality , fingerprint reader on the back, smooth interface and software experience, excellent battery life, ip68 rating, surely will have wireless charging and on top of that will feature stereo speaker on front ! To be honest i don't care about the potential notch or the headphone jack , i made the jump to bluetooth headphones for over 6 years now and will not go back to something i don't use anymore...
I Hope it will come in very early october so i can still refurb my huawei mate 10 pro for some hunderds of bucks and don't pay it too much at the end (cause obviously this won't be cheap lol)!

Well this is what one can expect from "BETA" product company. They release half baked and half designed products with buggy software and most pathetic hardware parts and they charge u the price of gold ... lol .. Google just stick with your cheap nexus line up ..u r fit for that only !!

To be honest the notch actually helps improve Pixel phone looks a bit. Way better than their super thick top and bottom bezel style old Pixel phones. At least this time I dont feel distracted by the big thick bezel. The notch itself is not a big problem.
Remember how Android P supports notch natively; that also means you can turn off the notch natively. Turning off the notch will change the display from 6.2" 19:9 ratio into 6" 18:9 ratio which is the normal fullview display. Better hope it using amoled display too.

Let's hope not, that's an awful design.
So many great features I love about the current Pixel line, but the design really does ruin it for me. At a flagship price, I'd expect the kind of innovative the Chinese are churning out constantly this quarter - ie. 90%+ stb ratio, no notch.

I just realised something. Neither Apple nor Essential introduce "THE NOTCH TREND", IT WAS THE SCREEN PROTECTOR THAT CREATED THE TREND!!!! Do you know why, cause some of the protector design comes with a notch. That's how Essential and Apple discovered the idea.

The notch is so tall, that they could hide Wireless, NFC, a dual camera with OIS and half the battery under it. no headphone jack, a notch (most horrible thing that happened to smartphone industry) and only a single camera. is there even a single positive upgrade since last Pixel ?
after using Pixel XL and then Pixel 2 XL with honor it's time to search for a real flagship elsewhere. Thanks to Huawei, Samsung, LG and Nokia it's not that hard to find one.

Pixels are the ugliest phones ever
