The Huawei P9 did get the Nougat update. A simple Google search would tell you that. Just because YOU and your region didn't get it doesn't mean it doesn't exist. You can flash the Nougat firmware.

The Huawei P9 did NOT get the Nougat update, as this article falsely claims. It is still stuck at Marshmallow. I know, because I have a Huawei P9 in my pocket and it never received the promised Nougat update.

So this will be the second time in a row that Huawei promises an update for the P9 then rescinds that promise. I know what my next phone WON'T be.

I only use legit, purchased software, but yes - nothing beats Windows, especially if you want to play games.

So it would get the android P because miss the android Oreo?

honestly speaking, i have both P9 (EMUI 5.1) and Mate 10 non-pro (EMUI 8.0), in terms of settings menu, EMUI 5.1 is much more intuitive and easy to find what i want, EMUI 8.0 seems consolidating way too much and buries a lot of things in level 2, level 3 sub menus.

and to tell the difference between EMUI 5.1 on Android 7 or EMUI 8.0 on Android 8, virtually none to me. my P9 of 2 years old still rock solid and functions well, security patch up to May 2018.

coming from iPhones 3 years back, never looked back. and in terms of stability, i have experienced way more times of app crash on my iPhone 4 and 5 than any of my android phones be it xiaomi, sony, asus or huawei, apps are much more stable on Android IMO.

The P Smart appears to have bugs on Oreo 8.1 including freezing, muffled calls and WIFi issues but Huawei UK makes excuses about Android 8.1 or Android 9 coming to it. Maybe Huawei doesn't like paying for updates and would rather sell newer phones

Much much faster than Adobe Premier.

Also Buy a Laptop / PC depending on the software you use , not the hardware , Hardware is common in all the brands.

If your a professional and use business apps and want excellent battery life Mac is good but you'll have to pay a premium for each and every software.

If your a Gamer and Run pirate Apps and Software then windows is better.

Also if you want a Mac like performance on Windows you'll have to easily invest about 1000$.

For Eg . Microsoft Surface Book , Acer Predator Triton , Asus ROG , HP Elite book ,LG Gram etc etc.

Using Mac hurt his whole business, not sure why he would lie about it. That's how he makes his living. And they cost a damn fortune, so he definitely had to work hard... With an unstable OS.

After Huawei stopped allowing users to unlock their bootloader on their phones recently which was a dick move IMO, they decide to pull off another dick move by not giving Huawei P9 the Oreo update even though it is capable of running, considering the fact that Oreo was released in 3rd quarter of 2017 which makes it eligible and was under 2 years of software support. This is all done to get you to buy newer Huawei phones with LOCKED bootloader for the sake of PROFIT$$$ and allows Huawei to spy on you by not giving the users the option to unlock bootlader and install custom ROM whenever you feel like it.

And stability wise Mac OS is better , Windows crashed on Me infinity no of times , Secondly windows doesn't age well.

Same with Android and IOS I have used IOS and Android , But IOS is better When it comes to stability and reliability.

Still I prefer android because I like to tinker with my phones and install custom ROMs.

One man had bought Macs for his business and eventually they got rid of every single Mac, because the OS would crash/hang while editing photos. That cost them a lot of time and apparently even some clients, because the issues made them miss deadlines.

It goes without saying, but they eventually got rid of those and use similarly high-end PC's with Windows. They apparently work a lot better, even though there has been some hardware failures too as those can't be avoided.
