Huawei P9 might not get the Android 8.0 Oreo update

Huawei's UK support staff says the P9 won't be getting the Android 8.0 Oreo.

The same old android story. Sorry for your lost money on another nothing. Actually i'm using GS7 and this is my last android phone. It works really well with Oreo, which means it can take at least 2 other updates, but NO, SAMSUNG SAYS NO

So next time buy a phone with at least 5 years future, buy an iphone

      For Anyone Who cares About updates Pixel , Nokia , Apple are the only 3 Brands to go for.

      Considering IPhone 5s is getting IOS12 that's already 5 years of updates and 5 Versions Started of with IOS 7 - Now IOS 12 , That's what you pay the premium for , Same Goes for Nokia and Pixel.

        Lol. Improve your customer service please? I don't want to buy another new phone for the new Android version. Come on Huawei.

          Nah they just want customers to upgrade and buy new phones,meaning more money

              Considering that Huawei will soon stop providing bootloader unlock codes, I think we can expect a lot of hearts broken by Huawei's future decisions. They've already surpassed Samsung in terms of sales in a lot of countries so now they feel overconfident in their market share. We'll see how they play their cards in the next year.
