I am so waiting for this, to upgrade at last!

After max brightness on Mi Max 1 was finally addressed by firmware update, I had no second thoughts skipping the slower on the CPU and otherwise similar Mi Max 2; still, using single smartphone well over a year is no fun!

p.s. mine runs LineageOS, with Google HDR+ camera port for decent photos of course. It's overall great, but I definitely want bigger screen, for better productivity and all. \=

The Max series usually targets the screen size and battery life. Performance though is still questionable since Max 2 has a lower Snapdragon processor than Max 1.

But so far, I like it very much. So, do robbers and snatchers.

Let's hope it has a 710 processor as that might further improve the battery efficiency which is the main selling point of this phone or should we now call it a tablet?

There is still some room for improvement in the bezel department. It has bezels on all sides. I hope companies start adapting some crazy ideas like the rear-camera-rotatable flap shown in this video - https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=E5g0eFRHXiw or the likes of vivo nex or oppo find x.

Looking forward to this phone. This will probably almost have the same footprint as the Mi Max 2. Never liked 18:9 aspect ratio phones but I'll give exception to the Mi Max 3 because at such an oversized 6.9" display, it can seriously benefit hand holdability by having an elongated 18:9 NarrowView display. (Not like those 5.5-6.3" flagships in 18:9 aspect ratio that seriously don't need the elongation as most normal sized hands can actually handle those screen sizes even if they were in the standard 16:9 aspect ratio).
