And the Max series is popular for its best enduring battery life since Mi Max 2. Go for it, Xiaomi!

I hope they fixed the display on this one, because in the Mi Max 2 the grey/black values sucked

It looks awesome! And if it has a Snapdragon 636, then the performance should be quite decent too.

"powered by an octa-core, 1.8GHz processor", look like this phone will be using sd 636 like Redmi Note 5.
Hopefully one of those model will use sd 660 or sd 710.

Looks just like the zoomed up version of Redmi Note 5 AI. Highly likely the chipset is SD636. Bigger battery and screen is a plus. If priced competitively, it would be a nice addition to my small iPhone SE. Fingers crossed...

TwelveMoon, 20 Jun 2018Octa core 1.8GHz. Sounds like SD450Max Series of Xiaomi uses S6xx series, so it's likely they will use SD636 as well (Also Octa Core @1.8GHz
But far better preformance)

Shame the 18:9 screen. With this shape it is better going for a true tablet. If the Max 2 had the LTE 20 it would have been a far better option even today.
