No. Sorry but they'll need more than a die shrink to catch up. Because you'll see the next SD will still be more powerful, and the next Exynos too. They need to het their hands dirty and get some custom cores designed. Yes Kyro cores are not customized as Krait cores were but it's still enough to run circles around Kirin

Sure, EMUI lacks polish and pizzaz, but performance wise it's the only custom Android OS I've used that doesn't need constant restarts and is very responsive.

Arni90, 20 Jun 2018Really! Why annoying?Ruins the pictures and the point and shoot gets slower because the ai needs to destroy the quality of the pictures first. You can turn master ai off, but the main ai is still active. Pro mode and raw is the only way to get acceptable and great quality.

They do because their OS is specifically optimised for them, so multiplying the cores and running android is an unlikely scenario which would simply result in an above-average benchmark score.
Take an Iphone and install Android on it---->run benchmark
Take android (similar specs on paper) and install iOS on it--->run benchmark
The android will win every single time.

Honor 6x has no lag after a year of usage.
Even y5 with spreadtrum chip had no lag for its class (compared to Samsung equivalents)

Well, if someone takes apple's single-core preformance, and puts it inside an 8-core chip, it's twice as powerful as the kirin 970

Better to start wrapping your mind around it and hope usb c audio as well as Bluetooth audio gets better. Frankly the average consumer uses alot of wireless headphones anyway. I take a look in Montego Bay where I work and everyone a s wireless headset on. I'd recommend taking a look at Bluedio. Their T4S is very good and comes with all in one usb c interface.

Well done Huawei, twice faster than 970 and 5G, they also are using Super AMOLED screens, really well done, thumbs up!

I don't understand, people keep saying that they want new innovation for mobile phones, but when it is chinese company that is trying to innovate, you guys are bashing them (according to the comments on Vivo NEX and oppo Find x)
But well I guess it is also because of Lenovo's recent Z5 launch, they really are making things worse for other chinese manufacturers
