PeterThePanda, 24 Jun 2018Lol. If EMUI and MIUI is bloated then why does it work bett... moreI've seen Huawei phones. They're definitely not nearly as bloated as Samsung ones. I'd say EMUI is one of the less bad UIs out there. Samsung Experience & the MIUI are one of the worst by far.

Koala, 24 Jun 2018OMG, I'm not Samsung fanboy, but you are obviously hater. ... moreOh stop lying. My wife has a filthy Note 8. The UI is still fugly & full of crap. It's only a few months old but already performs slower than my LG V30. Samsung phones are the worst along with Apple ones.

Among flagships, i truly think Huawei P20 Pro deserves to win that title. Other reasonable options would be HTC U12+ & Oppo Find X. It better not be S9+ or the iPhone X. Those are two of the most overrated phones out there right now.

You are talking about TouchWiz, which was heavy as hell. Samsung Experience is faster and no longer bloated.
        (I have not deleted comment)

Koala, 24 Jun 2018Just nonsense. EMUI is as bloated as MIUI. Samsung Exper... moreLol. If EMUI and MIUI is bloated then why does it work better and faster than Samsung laggy and bloated UI? I'd rather have a Pixel, Sony or even Huawei or Xiaomi phone than the garbage made by Samsung.

Even Samsung's midrange phones are loaded with bloatware garbage. Not to mention they're overpriced when there are better options with better specs and UI for less price. And what do you call curved screen which hardly adds any useful value to the phone, that Animoji knock-off and that variable aperture camera which hardly does anything to improve photo quality? They're obviously gimmicks. Samsung is known for adding lots of useless gimmicks on their phones since 2013.

You're obviously a Samsung fanboy judging by your previously deleted comment that "Samsung Galaxy S9+ is the most complete and beautiful smartphone".

            Are you living in 2014?

Vegetaholic, 24 Jun 2018Who would in a sane mind vote for overpriced iphone X when ... moreI have to admit that I find some of the features of the P20 series to be gimmicky. which is why I didn't even bother upgrading from my P10.

First of which is the notch, they could've just kept the style of the Mate 10, and not have a notch, even if it meant having a smaller screen of like 5.6". Without the notch, they could've fitted a proper 3D facial recognition system instead of the usual face unlock. It could also could've made the phone smaller (as same size as the P10). Plus, they've kept a sizeable chin on the bottom for the fingerprint. It just look stupid and made the front look unbalanced. And without the notch, they could've made the earpiece bigger for use as second speaker for a stereo setup.

I also didn't like how they switched to a glass back which made the phone heavier, but then they didn't add wireless charging. If you're not gonna add wireless charging, don't bother with a glass back. Glass backed phones just double the amount of glass that will shatter. No matter how manufacturers claim their glass is more durable than the others, glass is still glass which will shatter (unlike metal which will just get dinged, scuffed and dented) if sufficient force of impact is applied.

Third, I didn't like the fact that they increased the megapixels on the selfie camera but likely kept the same sensor size. It looked like they made it an afterthought. The P10 series had a good front camera which had good enough number of MP (8 MP) plus has better aperture (f 1.9 vs. 2.0 on the P20). Essentially, they just made the pixels smaller plus lowered the aperture on the P20. They could've stuck with the f 1.9 aperture, or better lowered it to 1.8 or 1.7. That lower aperture and bigger pixels could help the front camera in terms of use as facial recognition since it'll likely work better even in really low light environments.

Fourth, it was kind of stupid of them to remove the headphone jack but didn't put stereo speakers on the regular P20. If you're gonna remove the headphone jack, might as well do something good in return like having stereo speakers, either on the bottom or in conjunction with the earpiece. But it looks like the earpiece will be a crappy second speaker due to its size.

[deleted post]Galaxy S9+ is Complete and beautiful? That's a funny joke.

That curved AMOLED screen is just another fancy gimmick for more $$$ in repair costs especially in screen replacements, not to mention makes it difficult to protect phone with cases because of that gimmicky curved screen. Don't that Samsung is still slow in providing updates and their UI is still bloated and will laggy after less than a year. You'll be lucky if you get 1 OS update on your Samsung flagship, and any OS update on your non-flagship Samsung phone.

I'd take a Sony Xperia phone, a Pixel 2 (if it was available here in my country) or Chinese made phone from Huawei and Xiaomi over the crap made by Samsung, anyday. At least Huawei and Xiaomi have faster updates than Samsung and doesn't have as much bloat.. Faster updates and UI are more important than useless gimmicky features like curved screens and variable aperture cameras.

Who would in a sane mind vote for overpriced iphone X when NEX S looks better does things better and simply runs better OS for half the price? :) Both Xiaomis nothing to brag about but when it comes to midrange vs flagship, flagship wins all the time. Same faith for Moto G6, it's just can't stand against flahmgship LG G7. And lastly P20 Pro is more gimmicky than more useful thanks too typical Huawei focusing at what's irrelevant gimmicks: AI, triple camera, so Bkackshark definitely wins offering non-nonsense stuff with top notch hardware.

Am i the only one who doesnt vote for any phones with notch (because i hate notch) although the spec and etc are great

Goodbye ASUS Zenfone 5z, you are the best but you really underrared even compared with LG's phones...

Walter C. Dornez, 24 Jun 201810 bit RGB OLED? What is that? Graphene, not graphite, bat... moreThe 10 bit RGB is an even wider scale of Color gamut. Thd current one we use is is about 6 bit color depth (from 000000 to FFFFFF). So we will have estimated 1 billion colors over 16 million that we have now.
As for Focal Length. Uhm, if I recall correctly its: "The focal length of an optical system is a measure of how strongly the system converges or diverges light."
It's basically the distance of light rays that are brought to focus... and lower number indicates a wider focus. Etc. A scalable Focal ratio is a system that allows you to change these focuses.
                              Best examples are the galaxy S4 Zoom and galaxy K zoom (aka S5 Zoom) ^^;
I am quite bad in explainations. So hit me up if you got questions :D

Graphene, not graphite, battery is still in development and too expensive to put atm.
Wireless charging over the air is also still in development by many companies. Samsung is trying to speed up wireless charging though.
I'm not sure about that focal length thing, can you explain on that as well?
As for taking out the telephoto for that focal length, not everybody knows how to use that correctly.
I'm not trying to come off as a fanboy, just wanna have a friendly debate.
