        Please refer the FAQ section, this project doesn't support VoLTE and they categorically said they are not planning to support it in the near future either.

        VoLTE is critical for Jio users in India as that is the only (easy) way to make voice calls on that network. Even other networks like Airtel wants to go that route as soon as possible, in reality may never happen due to large number of 2G only subscribers. But neevrtheless, VoLTE is important for the future of mobile and not including such a big feature make this project not useful for many Huawei/Honor users.

If not ... moreif you just root you can still get security updates. if you're rooted you can flash other images, too. I have the Treble AOSP Image on my Mate 9 and I have the June Security Update. Before this I only had the January update.

                    Does a rooted phone still receive security patches? If not then don't try to root your phone. It's better to have the EMUI stay as it is after all, Huawei's optimization are good.

                                Vegetaholic, 25 Jun 2018Don't expect too much, they will not going to improve your ... moreGPU on Kirin 970 was throttling down because of high clock speed of individual cores, and there is no way that Huawei was limiting the speed of GPU on purpose since that would simply lead to better heat performance and battery efficiency, which weren't even a case - despite being the overall endurance champ in the battery life comparison by Android Authority, Mate 10 Pro did the worst among all major flagship smartphones when it comes to gaming time. And many reviewers including GSMArena are reporting that back panels of Mate 10 Pro and P20 Pro get uncomfortably hot when running graphics intensive benchmarks consecutively. If Huawei actually managed to improve their GPU efficiency through the software management, it would be a massive technological breakthrough. I already saw a video showing Honor Play performing on par with OnePlus 6 and massively outperforming P20 Pro in both maximum FPS and consistency during gameplay, so let's just sit back and wait until the update comes to international variants of P/Mate series... Then we can discuss whether it is legit or not.

                                    Even in current Kirin 970 heavy games can be played with zero lags already, so this GPU Turbo will makes the phone more future proof. At least they give us updated things.

They were throttling your you you from get go, and now it will be updated to work as it should be, so it is no improvement it will just let you to use it at full capacity as it should be from the start, do you really think they will magically make your phone gpu work faster by 60 % just by software update? Not possible
