GSMArena expresses the opinion that the success of the N9 depends upon buy-in from developers which in turn depends upon a minimum market share. But Myriad say that their product Alien Dalvik will allow most Android apps to run on Meego. If Alien Dalvik really works as advertised then the buy-in from developers will be much less relevant. What this issue needs soon is a critical test of Alien Dalvik. If it really works then you can more or less treat the Meego (in terms of market penetration) as if it is an Android device. Sure, it will still perform better with native apps or even Android apps tweaked or configured to run on Alien Dalvik. That sounds like not much effort for developers. I look forward to GSMArena's careful test of Alien Dalvik.

Okay! I've checked it and you're right. Btw Xpria Neo is cheaper than N8 in my country but i want the usb OTG... So currently no other android with usb OTG cheaper than the N8 right now in my place. I dont mean to argue but my choices are go for N8 or wait for the price of SGS2 or other model with usb otg to be cheaper ...i guess at the end of the day let the consumer choose by their own preference let they enjoy or suffer with their purchases cos we cant satisfy everybody . The manufacturer also will not design evrything in one phone either... Sorry no offence... Cheerrss

After 3 months...
The selling result of N9 shadowed by Iphone 5, cheaper SGS2 (after price drop), sales result continue to fall. Millions units of N9 now collecting Dust on shelf.... ( Nokia planning to learn HP for another round of FIRESALE for Nokia N9...)

While the "iphone4-killer" Nokia N8 successfully set the NOKIO into Burning State,
The "Business on Desk" Nokia E7 make nokia stop symbian for smartphone.
NOW THEY SUCCESSFULLY COME OUT THE N9. Which I confident this will COMPLETELY KILL NOKIA.
Well, miGO? Meego? 1Ghz? "stylish look?" price like S2 or iphone 4?
Again Nokia show us how far the distance between market and their designer.

Steven Elop and other Nokia top managers several times pointed clearly that Nokia bets on WP success, or they'll die. Remember the burning rig analogy? Elop set on fire the company forcing everyone to jump to the new ship. If they fail now it will be The End.
Meanwhile MS is just looking for new markets :-)

I would never buy this....nokia is hyping it up just like the N8....heck I still do not have the Anna update on my N8 in USA ! Sorry nokia...not going to fool me again (not even avaliable here...).
