Nokia is going down only 4million n8 sold. Meego is a good os but dead like webos. Nokia are going to sell only 5 million max of n9 because only the nokiafanboy will buy it.

And what is with the comparison of N8 and N9??? The only common point betwwen them is both are made by Nokia... N8 Failed because of Symbian 3 whereas N9 has completely different ecosystem in Meego... So this comparison of yours is crap.. As for your Swipe-imagined problems, go check out some videos on how it works and then come comment here...

And about launcher did you hear about "AppLauncher: SwipePad add-on" it has the Same N9 swipe function... I9100 has everything N9 has even this swipe thing
And you say people don't like UI of SGS2 then why the SGS2 interest is higher than N9 although it released 6 months ago the interest should decrease not increase after people find everything about it

they lauch this and haven't even given the USA symbian anna yet. they launched symbian belle and some of us are stuck with symbian^3. i think it is a good idea that they let microsoft handle the OS that way everyone can get their updates on time. and the os can run smoothly. WP7 is much better than symbian^3 right now. believe me on that

Samsung fanboys are so scared.With somuch dificulty samsung has got some laurels,Nokia is again out to outscore them with a master piece.It is obvious that Samsung can never come with such hardware and software combo which can outdo 1.2 GHZ dual core toys with a humble 1Ghz.
That is the beauty of this phone'os which is a combo of meego,harmattan and QT.And what to talk of UI.Unparalleled.Samsung in its dreams also can't come near to it.
Talking about appa.most of the QT apps will run on it and it already comes with Angry Birds and WiFi Hotspot, pre-installed in the Nokia N9. There is also integrated support for important services like Facebook, Twitter, Mail for Exchange, Gmail, Skype, Picasa and Flickr.So accept it humbly,bow head to its beauty,and run to nokia.

Nice contradiction, UI is apparently so important that most people go to the trouble of substituting part of the Android UI with something else. None of the launchers give you the holistically implemented concept of SWIPE though. I used Launcher pro on a GS2. Not even close. If you think otherwise, you are clearly missing the point of Swipe.

Seriously, have you even looked at the video's? Swipe to remove can be disabled on a per app basis. So games like Angry birds cannot be accidentally closed.
Let's try this the other way around. Those offline maps, deep social integration, live multitasking, stellar reception, Zeiss lens, Webkit 2 browser, unibody construction, where are they on the SG2?
Nowhere.
Swipe looks much much much better than Touchwiz or whatever launcher you can find, and the UI looks much more fluid. Heck, those few nice UI touches in Android for SG2 now need to be removed because they infringe on Apple patents. Patents Nokia received access too.
This UI is the best ever created for mobile. But you won't know because you are too busy counting fart apps.

Nokia Fans ... well look you might hate Elop for dumping the N9 and MeeGo OS but its really a smart movie by Nokia to limit the release of the N9 into selected markets and price it at a high price.
It will make the Nokia Fans salivate for the N9 and thus nearly every model will be sold ... again brilliant marketing by Nokia.
Now that is out of the way, the MASSIVE problem for Nokia is what Samsung had had with the Omnia HD in 2009.
Now consider 2009 specs the Omnia HD had:
ARM A8 600MHz CPU
256MB RAM
PowerVR SGX GPU
3.7" AMOLED screen with 480x680 resolution
720p @ 24fps HD Video recording
8MP Cam 4:3 and 6MP Cam 16:9
but it also had Symbian S60v5 ...
The developers got their hands on the Omnia HD and today if you have an Omnia HD via customer firmware you can have
Overclocked 950MHz CPU
Better RAM management
Better 720p HD video recording with Auto Focus mode
and ... and if you really wanted to you can have Ovi Store, Ovi Maps (with voice turn by turn navigation) also a heap of "Nokia only S60v5 and Symbian S^3 apps" ..
In other words Samsung gave up on the Omnia HD and Symbian S60v5 but the customer firmware community did what Samsung could never do ... turn the Omnia HD into a very decent smartphone that makes S60v5 works ... NOT EVEN NOKIA COULD DO THAT WITH THE N97 AND EVEN THE N8 WITH S^3 ...
My point I am making is the N9 will turn into the online custom firmware favorite ... hence why Elop is a smart man, price it high, the Nokia fans will buy it and then BAM! watch all the custom firmwares for the N9 ...
Now to the bad part, sadly in 2011 and early 2012 the specifications of the N9 are no where near what HTC, Samsung and even LG can offer ... 1GHz CPU with a 2009 GPU and only 512MB RAM does not cut it, hell the Samsung Wave is faster and more powerful than the N9, yes the 3.9" AMOLED screen with 480x800 resolution is a big step up for Nokia its about the only thing the N9 has going for it standard from Nokia ...
As for those Samsung SGS2 haters out there, please stop being idiots.
Enjoy the N9 for what it is, the ugly red haired ginger step child from Nokia ... it will be better once the custom firmwares are released and the handset control is taken away from Nokia.
