As for battery, 4000 gives you about 8 hours moderate to high screen on time on Huawei phone. Because of the software and AI capabilities, that's a little draining on the battery. Enter LG skin. Sure it's not the best, but it's very well optimized. A G7 ThinQ with 3000 mah manages to have around the same battery time as a 3300 cell in some other phones with Oled displays. Seeing how they do that with LCD, and considering the V30 ThinQ battery time of around the 7 hour moderate to slightly high usage I hear a lot of people getting, it's safe to assume, that LG, with an Oled screen and that optimization can get to 10 hours of screen on time or more even with heavy usage if they put in a 4000 or above amount of mah. Since LG will try to match 8 to 9 hours most likely, especially with the performance hungry 845, they'll need to be at least 3600. Wait, I forgot about the lower performance from the Kirin 970. That probably helps the battery life of the Mate 10 hit at about nearly 10 hours with some heavy usage. That would mean LG actually needs to have 3700 to 4000 mah battery to reach that much. Couple that with LG battery drain from bigger screen and higher resolution, and indeed, we need at least 3800 to hit 9 to 10 hours of screen on time with around 10 percent battery left over. I'm doing this with rudimentary calculation and need to rush to read NAMAZ so forgive me if this seems kinda inaccurate. This however, should be somewhat accurate

Seems like - if manufacturers can't improve main camera and picture quality, then they just need to add new camera to try successfully sell device.
It's starts to get hard for most brands to sell new flagship every year. Almost no or very little improvements.

Next year it'll have 6 cameras, and by 2030, the back will be covered in cameras. The NSA would be proud.

A 16:9--17:9 aspect ratio full screen with minimal bezels...has a big thumbs up.

Firstly, I'd like the design of the Mate RS or if they can make a full top bezel with no chin, that would also be good. Also, the BoomBox feature would be awesome with stereo speakers!

The V30s was just AI V30 and the V35 was just a Snapdragon 845 V30. The V40 however has enough to warrant an upgrade

This is just like MP wars few years back. These manufacturers don't want to optimize their software hence throwing useless additional cameras for no good reason.
