The A6 on "discounted promo" is already at $285 in my country so this J8 is probably gonna be worth at least $350 and it's not gonna be worth it.

Drop the price to $200 fixed. It might sell better. Maybe.

        Go home Samsung, you drunk.

Anonymous, 27 Jun 2018Soon Indians will forget Samsung brand in mid range mobilesSame goes for Pakistanis. Samsung is getting beaten by Huaweis and Xiaomis of the world. :)

Seems like Indians have learned that Samsung midrange phones sucks and switch to Xiaomi and its competitors. When will my fellow countrymen do the same? T_T

Soon Indians will forget Samsung brand in mid range mobiles

It's been almost a year since Samsung lost it's top position in the India smartphone market.
Logically, they should have made changes to their strategy, in their mid range, wrt pricing and specification. But they are continuing the same strategy.
It seems these so called "top-tier" brands' like Sammy, hTc etc, it hurts their ego to provide products at sane prices.
I mean, do maintain a difference with the Chinese brands, but this kind of pricing is simply insane.
A price of 12-13k would have been sane, plus also allowed them to maintain that premium over those brands.

                              Snapdragon 450 at 19k. Hahahahahahahahahahahahahahaha

So this phone won't sell outside of India
