Samsung Galaxy J8 launched in India, goes on sale June 28

Samsung has launched the mid-range Galaxy J8 smartphone in India. The phone is priced at INR 18,990 ($277) and will be available through offline and online retail channels, including Amazon, Flipkart, Paytm and Samsung e-shop.

The Galaxy J8 is a mid-range device with 6-inch, 1480x720 resolution 18.5:9 Super AMOLED display. It is powered by a Qualcomm Snapdragon 450 chipset with 4GB of RAM and 64GB of expandable storage.

On the back is a dual camera system with 16MP primary and 5MP secondary for portrait mode images. On the front is another 16MP sensor. The battery is 3500mAh and the phone ships with Android 8.0.

The Galaxy J8 will be available starting June 28 in Blue, Black, and Gold colors.

The A6 on "discounted promo" is already at $285 in my country so this J8 is probably gonna be worth at least $350 and it's not gonna be worth it.

Drop the price to $200 fixed. It might sell better. Maybe.
