Asus US lists the Zenfone 5z at $1,999

In what is undoubtedly an odd typo, the company advertises its flagship as costing twice as much as the iPhone X.

It Might be made of gold, IMO the price is fair for phone made of gold. 500 USD phone, 1500 worth gold...
Or it's a family package with zenfone 5 and all editions (64 to 256) meant for retailers, pretty well priced if you ask me....

    Probably they are offering the entire Zenfone 5 Lineup for $1999... :D

                  $1,999 is the STARTING price according their website, probably the 4GB/64GB. And, no band 66 and 71. I couldn't find any info about VoLTE, WiFi calling, etc.

                    This is the guerrilla marketing style of lying I can back up. With everyone's eyes on the ZenFone 5z's ridiculous pricing, they'll later change it to the real price and people will flock over Asus stores to buy their phone as it's dirt cheap.

                    At least, they're not Lienovo.
