We argue about the innovative sliders on the vivo NEX S and Oppo Find X - are they worth it?

it fails way too fragile

    It is cool in short term. It will lose it coolness if all phone adapt the same mechanism though. If I were to use such phone I might only used it for around 3 years before switching to a new phone so, im not so worry about wear and tear. Its all good. Who knows what kind of unthinkable new feature we have in 2-3 years from now.

      I would be cool if it's a manual slider, unmotorized.

        They're cool if used in limited quantities. In this case, although the Oppo looks more refined, is not as practical as Vivo. Having the mechanism activate to unlock ur phone each time is a dumb idea.

          There's a time when Cybershot phones was exist.

            Sliders are cool, but it's troubling too.
            (Especially that it degrades the durability in a long term usage.)
