    This is definitely a better idea than motorized solutions like the ones in VIVO & Oppo ones.

    The reason being that there are no moving parts here which makes it durable & long-lasting.

    Hopefully more companies with follow this idea.

      Will be interesting to see what covers they make to it to protect the fall of the phone. Back sceen is big enough to make video calls at least and good surface in front to use it for browsing and so on. But i expect it to be to expensive and how well the screens survive if the battery is in the middle and heats up. It will be fat phone too cause of the display on both sides

        I suggested this years ago. It's good to see a manufacturer taking a risk that might net us something objectively useful, as opposed to pure marketing gimmickry (curved and narrow-aspect ratio displays, etc).

        No more inferior front-facing cameras, and better battery life thanks to a smaller, lower-resolution rear display that can be used for simple notification and time checks.

          Feels odd to have a screen at the back of a phone. Not sure how general public will receive this idea. Yotaphone itself also not well received too.

              Not to mention that if you are gonna have a glass phone, this gives the back some functionality and use instead of just being a shatter magnet. Now it's a shatter magnet with function other than wireless charging.
