Nice phone but i am very concerned about the moving parts that hide ALL the cameras, both front and back. I might prefer the Vivo Nex implementation cuz in case of failure of the pop up front cam at least u will have the main back camera working (i rarely use the selfie cam).

I would love to have NEX with better cameras. Find X have the pop-up mechanism which is going to operate everytime someone looks at the phone. After a while, it will be a boring thing to watch and people will prefer faster unlock options. Or better Oppo should add fingerprint reader for people like me so that I can disable the face unlock on Find X.

anonym, 01 Jul 2018Why did NEX S lost by such a huge margin?although its the same kind of innovation/feature, I'm speculating that allot more people like the Oppo Find X better because its more symmetrical, giving it much more aesthetic than the Vivo NEX S.
Of course its a nifty trick/feature, but its not worth the $1000 Oppo/Chinese phone(IMO)

Imperator Neubaticus, 01 Jul 2018i agree. their facial recognition tech is admittedly fast, ... moreAccording to Oppo the camera mechanism can be raised and lowered over 300,000 times. If you were to lowered and raised it around 30 times per day it can actually last for approximately 27 years. That is way more than Vivo Nex S that claim their mechanism can be lowered and raised for 50,000 times.
