With phones like the Oppo Find X and vivo NEX S hitting the market there is hope that the boring slab of a phone is not the only option.

Where's the HTC Desire Z and the Sony Ericsson W900 phones alongside the handsets that you've discussed on this article? Those phones were oddly designed but sleek and superb devices which I've personally used before.

Siemens SX1 was very odd device my friend had it, it was amazing phone back in a days, and very capable one. Biggest problem of this phone was kind of getting use to text with it and bad internal component quality. Like most Siemens phones back in a day it has PBC issues and was dying it after only year of usage.

Nokia 5510 FTW! Of course, a wee bit outdated these days, but I would still kill to have my physical keyboard back - typing on any kind of touchscreen needs to die a very, very painful death, the sooner the better...

I have owned several of thees devices. Some designs where not so ergonomic, but for that time looked stylish and let me look different in the "boring" crowd of simple shape NOKIAS and ERICSSONS.
The Siemens SK65 with X-form qwerty keyboard is the best and most ergonomic real keyboard I have experienced. (I have also tried Sony-Ericsson and Blackbery with qwerty and HTC with slider qwerty), but the Siemens`s experiment with the keyboard on both sides of the screen, where the best, with fastest typing (however it needed both hands to type).

I still appreciate the design of Nokia N93i that allows you to record video in any angle with on/off and zoom buttons conveniently placed for one hand operation. I wonder why dedicated digital camera manufacturers didn't use such design which makes it perfect with current technologies like OIS.

I've never had the opportunity to try it out in person, but the Axon M design seems awesome. Something like that, but with a seamless screen, could be the best phone ever.

Also if its about price, the only way to lower that is for it to be even more popular. Look how mobile industry changed the face of computer, from desktop oversized box to pocketable one. It may not be long, we just need more take on this even with entry level specs like snapchat spectacles.

I've used Sony Ericsson T630 - K770 - Nokia 6303 Classic. K770 was the best for gaming. Nokia for durability. It was good days. I've bought Sony Xperia Z3 which is working till now. It is legend phone. Also I've bought Micromax Canvas Spark Q380 which was annoying crap. I sold it after few months. My current phone is Motorola Moto G4 Play. It is good phone much better than Micromax. My last words --- If I pay huge I will buy only Sony. If not even Huawei is enough.
