Jamesschwarz987, 03 Jul 2018Yass, people are always such a troll when it comes to Sony.Yeah, it's become a trend at this point. People should leave Sony alone. If you want bezel less, then get an IPhone or Samsung or the other hundreds of bezel less option.

Walter C. Dornez, 03 Jul 2018Huh, man Sony phones are underrated People do only care about bezelless display.

For me, Sony always has a good and iconic design on their product. Walkman, Trinitron, Cybershot, Bravia, Xperia etc. their product design are always iconic, unique, and remarkable.

Admiring them becomes a minority today.

Very blurry quality. Is that image zoomed in? HDR mode looks terrible. I can see why its called oil painting. Need to work on noise and sharpening. Or simply put bigger sensor on your next phone dear, Oneplus.

Arccosinus, 02 Jul 2018Apple infamos for this issue as well. It's even more pronouncedThat's because of the poorly small sensor in it.

See, since iPhone 4, Apple has been constantly, staying on 1/3" sensor (well 1/3.2" or 1/2.9" at least it's so close). That's why i never Apple never slip by on my head, when i'm talking about cameraphone.

(Before somebody reproaches me with those "If you're talking about sensor size, WhY nOt UsE DsLR?!!1!", better you think again. This is a flagship phone. Highest class of a phone. Better at least give us the-best-quality-at-its-limit. P20 Pro could fit a 1/1.7" camera with its lens on a 7.8mm slim profile, why iPhone not? Apple knowns for its mid-specced devices, packed on premium material and price.)

Anonymous, 02 Jul 2018I feel the P20 suffers from this as well, it is over doing ... moreIkr. So sad, having a large sensor but rather than having a far superior photo quality than most flagship, its ability are just killed away by those aggressive noise reduction.

I don't have one of these, but, will they capture the image in RAW mode?
it would be nice to see an image in a photo editor like photoshop, before
the Oxygen OS does whatever voodoo it does to screw up the picture.
Once again, overprocessing the photo, trying to make it look better instead of
making the image SENSOR larger. Wish smartphone companies would just admit
they can't do much more and increase the d**n sensor! Otherwise, just go out
and buy a good camera if you want "d-slr" quality, because you will NEVER achieve it with a sensor this small.

Really? You pay 600-700-800 dollars, euros, whatever, to have this kind of photos? And this kind of "HDR"s? And then you want to convince me how awesome these phones and photos are?
