Their demise is their own fault. Releasing dozens of different models trying to compete with Samsung. Need to learn to walk before running.

Something with a very decent mid range chupset like a S660 or even a P60. And price it decently like at $300 and to keep costs low make it an online only sale. With their brand name I would maybe buy that.

For that price in my country all I get is a nice looking HTC desire 12+ but with a 720p screen and a sd450 processor. Sorry but nope. Not spending that money on such crap.

Only had one HTC,and that was the HTC WILDFIRE,loved that phone, because technology moved on I had too, because of technology it was unusable to use,if they all over charge us then I have no simpfony, Samsung and Apple should take note, biggest over priced culprits out there !

Man, I hope HTC merges with Google or something. I want it to survive.

No. They don't deserve it. They treat Europeans as unworthy customers. The U12+ 128GB is not available in the online shop, only the 64GB. The U11+ is available in a single colour, no choices there.

How come the pictures made with the U11+ are better than those shot with the U12+?

I think that is why they accepted the deal. So they can easily quit. Piece by piece.

Years ago HTC was my favourite phone manufacturer. Their phones were so good and interesting (M7, M8 and 10). Now they are out of ideas and following stupid trends. So sad.

Merging and adjustment is probably a good thing. I believe in their mix of great phones, they have a successful, tried and true metal with a no squeeze action in the mix for diversity. I'm still using my trusty One A9 as our daily drivers.

Just close the mobile part. Htc is dead on the phone market.

Anonymous, 02 Jul 2018HTC is done as phone maker....not good.As phone maker, i do belive they can do better if they listen their costumers...people always complain for little things about HTC phones and i see a easy fix for that, why HTC dont?

Remove headphone jack on very capable phones, with rom for it, why did they do that? Since that they keep cutting things and people keep forgettin to buy a HTC phone.

Even theyr VR team someday will struggle when Sony and Microsoft rise their guns against.

Well, i do like what HTC done 5, 6 years ago...right now they do because doing, not because they want to.

U Ultra is a clear LG V10/V20 rip off, so by this means HTC is out of ideas and this new pressure sensitive sides is a gimmick, big gimmick.
