8 are too much IMHO with the current line up of android apps.
6 seems to be the sweetspot between price and performance.

Anonymous, 03 Jul 2018Do the Kirin SoCs support Bluetooth 5?Not yet. Probably the next version of kirin. If I am not mistaken all phones with kirin 970 have BT 4.2 only. But it doesn't matter to me. It doesn't give much of an advantage for my daily routine in work and home.

I already own the Mate 10 PRO. Why would I even consider buying this?
Smaller screen and yet the same processor? No advantage or increase in performance.

Without NPU, the real time frame aligning of multiple long exposure images is simply impossible... I bet any devices not using Kirin 970 is never going to receive the AIS update in the future.
