Technology are fast, more and more demanding apps are coming and for the price, they give u more ram than others. It makes your phone future proof at affordable price. Whats to complain? I do not know really, but I believe Mediatek X SoC is the best High Efficiency Perform based SoC. When you need better battery life just disable the High perform cores aka 3rd cluster CPUs of Mediatek X series. When you need longer battery life even more just enable 1st cluster. (Cortex A-35 based) When you need high perform then just enable all clusters.
Yeah I know it is has locked source code but still it is has high potentials.

Is is necessary? No. 6 gb for such device is more than enough. But what about battery? It's capacity is the same for 3-4 years. That's unacceptable.
